Great House but if still listed in description, be warned there is no private pool or hot tub Positive: We had high hopes for this property based on the listing, and in many ways it delivered. The house itself is very well-maintained, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The interior was excellent, the kitchen well-stocked, the beds comfortable, and the location convenient. The host’s communication prior to arrival was responsive, and the property was exactly as described in almost every respect. Negative: Unfortunately, the listing prominently advertised a private pool and hot tub, which was a primary reason we chose this property. Upon arrival, there was no private pool or hot tub at all. When we politely raised the issue and requested a reasonable credit for the missing advertised amenity, the interaction with the host became highly unprofessional. She accidentally shared an internal conversation in which she accused us of trying to “extort” her. When we pointed out the listing clearly showed the amenities and offered screenshots, she dismissed us and refused further meaningful discussion. We understand listing errors can happen, but the combination of the false advertising and the hostile response left a very negative impression. Had the pool and hot tub been present as advertised, we would have given this property a strong 10-star review. As it stands, the experience fell short of what was promised.

Positive: The Kestrel house was perfect for my family of 5. It was cozy and comfy. Everything thing was clean. Everything we needed was in the kitchen. The pool was a quick few minutes drive away. We are looking forward to coming back. Negative: Loved everything!
